The Tek Republic 1 vs 3 Mates/Lads FC 

A fantastic performance by Mates/Lads FC who hit the ground running with a thumping 3-1 victory to start the season. Admittedly they were the better team as attested to in a post match interview with the gaffer for the game Joe Gamston. Tek come out of this fixture heading into next week with all to play for. Joe Gamston is credited with our man of the match performance for this game as voted for by Will.

The Tek Republic 8 vs 1 Larkhall City FC 

Back to winning ways with an annihilation of Larkhall City FC. Another game that is always feisty and well contested. As always nothing but respect before and after the game. David marks his first appearance of the season with a hattrick and a stellar man of the match performance as voted for by Dan. Speaking of Dan he continued his assist making form by providing a further two assists to take first place in our assist leaderboard making an early claim for our coveted Kevin De Bruyne award.

The Tek Republic 2 vs Inter Milansdowne 3

A fantastic match that saw The Tek play their best football in a long long time. After going 2-0 up both sides fought it out right to the very end. All credit where credit is due to Inter who garnered their third win of the season after an emboldened fight back to tie the game 2-2 and then win it in the dying seconds with a goal scored from a set piece. A match that is always played out with passion and fire and on a different day if we took our chances could have gone our way, nevertheless nothing but respect to the victors. Everyone played well but it is Sully who was a class above the rest and picks up the well deserved man of the match award. Will and David continue their great goalscoring form making it 4 goals apiece for the season. Will deserves even more credit for scoring directly from a corner kick which right now stands out as our goal of the season. Massive well done to Charlie who is rewarded with his fine form in defence with his first assist off the season.

The Tek Republic 1 vs West Jam 3

A hard fought game that saw both sides head into the interval at 0-0, the second half the champions showed their quality being able to catch us on the counter on three separate occasions. Burying us to the sword with three clinical goals. Joe our vice captain was to get his first goal of the season and was able to grab us a consolation goal with a fantastic free kick from near the half way line lobbing their goalkeeper. A massive welcome to both Nath and Frazer two of our new signings who both played well in their debut and showed they will be forces to reckoned with as the season plays along.

The Tek Republic 4 vs Mates/Lads FC 2

A return match from our first defeat of the season saw a well fought game as they always are between these two teams. We played some really good football with some real great performances all round. Nath was able to lead the way in the assists category with two assists punctuating a fantastic performance. Joe was able to build on last week finishing a wonderfully worked goal as well as showing his ability to operate in the number 10 position whenever the fluidity of the formation called for it. Luke put in yet another superb performance including a goal line clearance and keeping their striker quiet throughout the game in a well emboldened tussle between the two. Dexter, Alex as well as Danny also put in great performances with Alex going on a great solo run at run point, Danny just missing the post with a bullet shot and Dexter playing superb from start to finish. The man of the match though has to go to David who was astounding from start to finish. Not only did his hat-trick secure us a well earned victory but his work ethic, off the ball movement, footballing IQ was a sight to behold from start to finish. His goal tally is now at an amazing 7 goals in 3 games which is unreal.

The Tek Republic 9 vs 0 Larkhall City FC 

Dominating display against the team that was bottom off the table prior to the fixture. A cultured performance that led to a clean sheet and some fantastic displays of football. David and Joe both bagging a hat-trick with Alex grabbing two and Nath scoring the goal of the game. Hard to choose a man of the match as everyone performed well. Please see highlights below, there was an earlier issue with recording and thus I was only able to capture some footage from the second half with my phone.

The Tek Republic 4 vs Inter Milansdowne 0

Best performance of the season yet, we were finally able to get a victory against Inter. Nothing but respect for our opponents who up to this point have had a fantastic season and long may that continue for them. Massive well done to the lads, proud of our performance today, we go again. Will was able to bag a brace and firmly put himself in second place on our scoring charts, Frazer produced a man of the match performance playing a cultured game throughout and grabbing the goal of the game. Jared made his first appearance of the season and it showed as we were able to rely on our anchor which put us in the best possible situation to help garner a victory. Alex rounded out the scoring with Luke, Charlie, Frazer and David all producing assists. Everyone had a great game and it gives us great confidence heading into next week against the champions.

The Tek Republic 2 vs West Jam 6

Well and truly thrashed by the champions. They were more organised as a team and took their chances very well. We still have a long way to go and this is just another lesson we must learn from if we want to become champions eventually. Man of the match for me was a tough one as it's hard to reward people when we are on the end off a drubbing, nevertheless Nathan rarely put a foot wrong all game and won pretty much most his 50/50's despite going up against a defender who was bigger and taller than him.

The Tek Republic 7 vs West Lamb United 3

We were looking for a response and we got one, an emphatic victory which could have been even more if Alex had his goalscoring boots on. Great team effort all round with David as the runaway man of the match scoring 5 out of our 7. Massive thanks and appreciation to both Ash and Chucky who made their debuts for the team, both playing extremely well with Ash providing numerous assists and Chucky making some fantastic saves especially a really crucial one when the score was still 2-2.

The Tek Republic 3 vs Mates/Lads FC 2

As always a hard fought battle between two great teams. Both teams played some beautiful football at times I felt we were the better team in the first half while they were the better team in the second half. Man of the match was Jared who was assured, great with his distribution and made some crucial saves to help us secure the victory. Well done to Will who grabbed our first and third which eventually ended up being the difference between the two teams. Credit to Nath who registered the only assist during the game to Alex.

The Tek Republic 9 vs Larkhall City FC 2

A thumping victory in the end with Will and Alex both grabbing hat-tricks. Charlie grabbing his first of the season as well as David grabbing his first of the season in his first game back with us. Frazer rounded out the scoring with a wonderful no-look finish. Despite a dominant scoreline at one point the game was 3-2 and Will made some fantastic saves to keep us ahead. Luke produced the assist of the game with a wonderful diagonal cross ball onto Alex who controlled it and applied the finish while the two opposition players ended up running into each other. Three victories on the bounce puts us in a great place moving forward with our two toughest games to play in our next two fixtures.

The Tek Republic 0 vs Inter Millansdowne 2

Disallowed goals, calls for V.A.R, shots flying off the woodwork, incredible saves and plenty of wild challenges flying in from both sides. A scrappy affair which Inter were able to pull through with a comfortable 2-0 victory in the end. At times tempers were very high but all in all the game was a very spirited affair and as always both teams not only came to win but also after the game shook each others hands and showed nothing but love and respect after the game. Things we could learn from tonight is we need to be more clinical in front of goal and we need to show the ability to slow things down a little and play it around the park more. I felt the shape when we stuck to it in the first half was very good but after going a goal down we lost our heads and abandoned what was working so well for us.

The Tek Republic 0 vs West Jam 3

A loss against the defending champions either thought I recorded the game from the attacking end there wasn't anything to highlight. Credit to the opposition who killed the game off in the first half with three goals. Second half was a much more closer affair after we switched up formation. I voted Christian as the man of the match this evening.

The Tek Republic 4 vs West Lamb United 2

Delighted with the result as West Lamb brought forward a much stronger team than usual. Gave us a really good game and battled for everything. Proud of the lads who rose to the occasion and saw off the spirited effort from the opposition. Nath grabbed our first two goals, Sully grabbed our third and David Lekaj rounded off the scoring with our fourth. Assists came from Alex and Will this evening with the man of the match award being a tie between Sully and Nath.

Final game of the season against West Lamb United, a well fought battle which we were able to come out on top with a 4-1 victory. Man of the match was Will who scored two goals. Alex and David rounded out the scoring with Luke and Charlie providing two assists.
