Yes we may be rivals and yes for the game we will go to war but only in the true spirt and nature of the game. Once it is said and done it's nothing but love and respect for the fellow warriors and believers in the beautiful game that we call football.

Venue: Ark All Saints Academy, 140 Wyndham Road, SE5 OUB (To get to the pitch, you need to go down a road just off Wyndham Road called Toulon Street. Follow that round and you'll come to a black gate that you walk through and the pitches are there)

FAQs

What time are the games played?

Thursday evenings between 7:30 and 9:45. 7:30 to 8:15 being the first slot, 8:15 to 9:00 being the third slot, 9:00 to 9:45 being the final slot. Each week we are designated with out opponents a slot to play.

 

What kind of pitch is it and what boots are allowed?

4G pitch, dimensions are massive for 7 aside so a really good run out as well as a great reprensation of the beautiful game when it comes to having to follow tactics. Blades or astro's are fine as long as they are not metal.

 

What kind of level is the play?

It's a mixture some weeks you will play against teams who have ex semi pro players in the sqaud, ex youth players etc etc. Other weeks you will be playing against pure hobbyists. Varies season to season albeit the last season the standard was a lot higher than usual.

 

How much is the match fee?

We pay £82 as a team. As a captain I only charge everyone £10 (8 players as we are allowed one roll on/roll off sub).

What is the atmosphere like?

We play to win but everyone is quite chilled before the games. We occasionally go out for after match pints as well as the bond is very strong within the team.
